We have been on official lockdown for about two weeks now because of Covid-19 but it feels like longer. It's weird that, like I said, I don't usually go anywhere in the normal run of a week or whatever, but now that I'm advised against going anywhere, I want to go somewhere.
Mostly, I want to shop. Not that anything I might buy is an absolute necessity, I just like to wander around Walmart. I can spend literal hours inside that store and come out with three things! Our Walmart has reduced its hours. They are now open between 6 AM and 8:30 PM. Also, they have closed the General Merchandise doors (you can only enter through the Grocery doors), and limited the number of customers allowed in the store at one time. While, on the surface, this is a good idea ( designed to limit the spread of Covid-19), can you imagine driving from say, an hour away only to find out you have to wait to do your shopping because they are at capacity?
So far my family has been symptom-free. Because we are not the people who think that life on lockdown goes on just as before. People are being arrested for not following the stay-at home guidelines!
From what I have been hearing on the news, this doesn't look like its going to be over until its over, and that may be a loooong while. Its a good thing I have The Sims 3 on my computer, otherwise I would go mad.
